baby + kid

back to blogging, back to school, back to labeling.

I'm baa-ack.  Sorry for the self-induced one year hiatus… apparently having two kids is a lot of work (thanks, everyone, for the suggestion that having your kids two years apart is a good idea).  But now that school is back in session I suppose I should start doing my homework and pass along all of the amazing parenting and culinary and beauty tidbits I have accumulated over the past year.  And since everyone is still working through the back-to-school transition, let me start by sharing the best adhesive and iron on labels I've used: Tinyme.  Not only are these labels crazy cute, they actually stick.  I stuck these on my daughter's lunch containers over a year ago and they are still there.  Even after countless times through the dishwasher.  The bag tags, shoe labels and iron-on labels are fantastic as well.

For water bottles, try the Orbit labels from Austin-based company Inchbug.  The dishwasher safe stretchy band works on numerous bottle types and there's no risk of it falling off or of the name rubbing off.
